Google web fonts are highly using on every type of website because its free and awesome and once you set up this font in blogger, you can change your writing style without any bug or error. Writing skills are a big need today in blogging everyone is doing race from each other by impressing visitors and engage them to become a daily reader of his/her website, so in this case newbie has to concentrate on every little thing to ease the racing track like hovering color, menu color, background color, writing style, font family and much more.
The main and big thing from which every visitor being inspired is writing skill and font style if you study CSS so you know that we use font family style to change font writing style, before starting to implement font in blogger you should have some little knowledge about writing and font style.
Main Custom Font-Family
There are lots of font-family, but here am discussing some most used and favorite font-family which you have seen on every famous website or blog.
- Georgia: This is the most and widely used font-family, it is largely used in H1 headings or in quotes.
- Arial: I don’t need to define this most default font family it is present as default on the first number in every software, live writer, MS word or any writing apps or software. Its simplicity and clarity made him alive.
- Sans-serif: Mostly 80% blogger used this writing style because of its light and fresh weight. It is largely used in the main contents that we also said articles. It has many related font families like open sans, serif and so on.
How to Add Google Web Fonts in Blogger
For better installation I define this tutorial in two steps. In the first step you will learn that how to select best font and get links from google web fonts official site and in second step I will define you how can you implement font link in blogger blog.
So lets start from the first step.
Open Google Web fonts official site in new tab.
Here you will see many writing styles, so choose one of them and then click on Quick Use as present in below image.
Tick all the styles and scroll down, here you will see a link and CSS style, so copy it and save in simple notepad and see the next step.
Second Step.
Then, move on blogger homepage>> Go to Template>> Edit HTML and paste the link that you saved in notepad below <head>.
Remember: If this link gives an error in the blogger html viewer so open the notepad in which you saved the link and add slash/ just before the end tag of the link. See the below picture for consideration.
Lastly, click on save the template and click on View Blog to see that font style working well or not.

So this was the tutorial from which you can add your likeable writing style easily without wasting lots of money and that way your chances increased for getting more subscribers and readers. You can also make font-family combination by adding more than one google web font link below <head> tag, but don’t add too many, otherwise it decrease your page speed.
